The first piece I'm considering for interpretation is a series of stainless steel mirrors with a circle motif created by Anish Kapoor in 2007. I have wanted to try reflections in mylar for a while, so my interpretation would involve doing that. It also fits in well with my concentration.
My second option for a piece is a chromogenic print by Woflgang Tillmans from 2000 called "I don't want to get over you." In this piece, he applied color to abstract concepts and it has great emotional impact. My idea for interpretation involves photographing food coloring as it disperses in water (it doesn't sound like much but it forms an fluid movement and looks really cool).
